N. L. Student Wins Tri Kappa v Trip To Pledges Four Puerto Rico New Members
Steve Divine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Divine of Rt. 2, North Liberty, left the John F. Kennedy airport, New York City, by jet at 12:30 p.m, April 2, and arrived in San Juan, Puerto, at 4:40 p.m. Steve, along with Terry Agler of John Adams High Schoo’, and Keith Shorb of Riley High School, South Bend, were the Indiana District winners of the National Bible Quiz which was held ^ast fall at Winona Lake at the National Conference of the Fellowship of Grace Brethren churches. The three boys and two others from the Fort Wavne Brethren Chmvh, competed [with other quiz teams from all over the United States and won the expense free trip to Puerto Rico. White they arc there, they will give assembly programs in the schools, Bible quiz with the Puerto Ricans and visit both the English and Spanish sections. They wi^l be staying in the homes of people there. Among their activities will include swimming, hiking, bonfires at the beach, and sightseeing. They wiy return home April 9th. Steve is a member of the Ireland Road Brethren church. South Bend and a senior at North Liberty High School. He plans to enter Grace College at Winona Lake, this fall.
