Lincoln - Liberty Farm Bureau Meets The Überty Lincoln Fann Bureau meeting was held Dec. 2 at the North Liberty Community building at 6:45 p.m. with a ham supper. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Stump and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Featt were hostesses for the evening. The meeting opened with Willard Stump, chairman, leading in devotions His theme was "Who Knoweth,”’ taken from the book (> f Esther. He then offered prayer. Mrs. Herman Bnnkhoff , pet and hobby leader, presented the Christmas program with recitations of poems by Carol Clark, Kirk Clark. Wilmer Burnous told of the prospective plans on taxes and apportionment in 1965. Reports of the state cor.ventlon were given by Willard Stump and Harold Geyer, county chairman. Those in attendance were Mr. and Mrs Willard Knepp and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Stump. Mr. Stump stated that there has been an Increase of 4 400 new members in the Indiana Farm Bureau Federatkrn for 1964. Dec. 11 will be a kick-off meeting.

Chairmen will be selected for the membership drive for 1965. Harold Geyer stated that a site has been purchased for new office buildings for the Farm Bureau, located on the corner of U.S. 31 and Johnson roads. Lyle McCormick, one of the direeb rs of the Co-op, stated that plans are in progress for this project. The new executive board will meet soon to make plans for the New Year.
