N.L Jr. High Splits With New Carlisle On December 1. the New Carlisle Junior Hi teams invaded the Liberty c >urt for a double bill. The Shamrock 7* h graders won their game, after leading all the way, 37 to 22. Hon Young again led the Shamrock 7th grade scoring with 19 points, on 7 baskets and five free tosses. Scoring for the liberty 7th grade five was •o ns is tan t with quarter scores ot 9-10 and 9-9. In the Bth grade game. New Carlisle won out in a close, har< fought battle, 10-37. The score was close all the way. After gaining an 11-8 first quarter lead, the Shamrock Bth graders fell behind at the half. 20-17. Scoring in the final half waa even, each team scoring ten points in the third and fourth quarters. Leading scorers for North Liberty in this game were: Marty Shupert. with 11; Chris Anderson, with 10: and Kent Amsbarger, with eight points.
