Ml SIC AL PROGRAM FOR WBCS MEETING The General Meeting of the Women's Society of Christian Service will meet Wednesday evening. Dec. 2. at S:00 o'clock in the church The theme for the meeting will be “Birthday of A King." The Esther Circle is in charge of the program. Students of Mrs. Grace Atwood will present selections in music for the evening. Hostesses will be Mrs. Melvin Harrison. Mrs Richard Anderson. Mrs. Richard Flaugher. Mrs. John Garab, Mrs. Robert Gardner. Mrs. A. J Daniels, Mrs George Parks and Mrs. Denslow Doll. All members and friends of the Society arc cordially invited. METHODIST YOUTH The Senior MYF met last Sunday evening in the church dining room with their parents to discuss the relationships and reap visibilities of a wholesome home lite A group of fifteen youth from one of the high school Sunday School classes served as a panel under the* leadership of Mrs Marian Chapman Following the discussion, refreshments were wntd by thd adult counselors. The Junior MYF met at the same time with their counselor, Mrs. Glen Trost Both groups are collecting canned goods and cash for the Methodist Children s Home m Lebanon. Those who would like to contribute, should contact Miss Geraldine Stickley. TABOR EUB YOUTH The Tabor EUB Youth Fellowship had a bowling party at the Liberty Ivanes, Saturday. November 21. After bowling, they went to Sara and Karen Walters for I refreshments of barbecues, potato chips, cookies and punch A । good time was had by all The YF is also planning to go caroling Sun<iay. December 13. with a party following. FIFTH SUNDAY SERVICE The Youth of the community Is invited to attend a special Fifth Sunday Service at Stuntzs Pine Forest The group will meet at the Presbyterian Church at 6 pin to proceed to Stuntzs Pine Forest The service includes a movie, worship service and songs. All youth of high school ages are invited. PRESBYTERIAN SENIOR YOUTH GROUP The Senior High of the Presbyterian Church met Sunday evening for their regular meeting. A play as a part of the worship, began at 5 o’clock, then a group held a business meeting to discuss the up-coming fifth Sunday Service. Then the meeting was adjourned for refreshments and recreation.

Mrs. Walter Smith; Refreshments, Mrs. George Warner, Mrs. Leon McKesson, Mrs David Lawrence and Mrs. Richard Kicktoush. Tables and decorations, ?dra Dean Knowlton. Mrs. Fannie Reeder. Mrs. Dennis Northam and Mrs. Fred Bullinger. PHILATHEA CLASS MEETING The Philathea Class of the Methodist Church will meet on Thursday, December 10. at 12 noon for their annual Christmas Party. A potluck dinner will be served and hostesses will bo the officers. Mrs. Gus Verkier, Mrs. Hazel Schutz. Mrs. Alice Barney and Mrs John Travis. A colored film will be ptesented. ST. Mr. and Mrs. John Nichols, of North Liberty, are the parents of a daughter born Nov. 22 in St. Joseph's hospital. South Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cam of North Liberty are the parents of a son bom Nov. 18. in Memorial hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Delaney are the parents of a 6 lb. 6 oz. baby girl bom November 21. in Home hospital. West Lafayette. She has been named Dawn Marie. Mrs. Delaney is the former Catherine Knowlton. Setting a good example is merely a sermon without words. Today is when we build lots of tomorrows out of yesterdays. It's sad but true— usually it's weak men who break promises.
