Conditions are now ripe for fire in Indiana. Unless a good soaking rain falls pretty .soon, most of Indiana will be tinder box dry. a condition that is often the case this time of year. To date, grass fires have been few. but only through the careful cooperation of all can this remain. With an almost rain free period of three and a half moMllr in many areas of the state, state forests and parks are in danger and many are Carved to be closed due to , the extreme fire hazard Tn our location, this is not as nw h concern as just the fires that ♦ i » >

Being careful of anonymous articles. we looked it over pretty t~good 'and' det ided that there r was much good thought and int<*Mion» in this article. It stated that the season of "Peai e on Earth. Good Will Toward Men" is about upon us. . Thi> it mentions four things: Mental Hospitals. Clinics. Orphanages. Nursing Homes, and the good that car? be extended to such places at the holiday season. Thu* article didn’t ask everyone to go out and buy expensive things for these places, but rather acts of kindness and simple gifts that may be enjoyed by the patients in these places. Different organizations already have plans to help these unfortunate people at Christmas time, hut a reminder to the public cannot hurt. One thing that was mentioned in
