PROCLAMATION WIiHKEAS, the Congress of the United States has designated the eleventh day of November as a legal holiday known as Veterans Day and dedicated to the cause of World peace; and WHEREAS, the men and women who served in our armed forces have demonstrated their willingness to satisfy the greatest obligation of their citizenship; and WHEREAS. Veterans Day affords each of us an opportunity next only to pay due honors to th© dedicated men and women who have honorably served in our anrusi forces in time of war. but also to reemphasize our determination to achieve world (peace with honor; NOW.
