Mrs. Kevin Huffstetter, wife of the Kiughts Club president in Walkerton, was elected to serve as chairman The group will meet socially each month at the homes of the memlors and will recite the rosary at each opening. Methodist Has Phil Eskew As Monday Speaker The annual Father and Son Banquet will be h- Id this coining Monday evening. Mr. Eskew is an outstanding uta'aker and will bring a message especially directed to the fathers and sons. He is interested in and haa great faith in the youth of today. Mr Eskew has been tn tha school profession for over thirty years He has served as teacher, coach, principal and superintendent prior to accepting the position h* now holds In addition to his public service to the schools, he has served faithfully as a Methodist layman for over thirty years It Is r special privilege to have a jmeaker as well known and as popular as Mr. Eskew to speak at the banquet. K Os C Enjoy Halloween Party The newly organized Knights of Columbus, staged a Halloween affiliate organization of the Plym' outh Council of the Knights of Columbus Club in Walkerton an. party Saturday night at the St. Patrick School Hall with 80 persons present at this, their first social function Prizes were awarded Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Westhu* s as the be.-1 dressed couple for square dancing, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Groves placed second. Lowell Hartsell won the door prize and Lewis Dewili us, Plymouth, won a contest prize. A black and orange crepe paper canopy ceiling made the hall festive, with large crepe paper spider wettbs and decorative spiders hanging from one open partition A corn shock, pumpkins, and Halloween cut outs were on the stage where an orchestra p’avrd for round and square dancing.
