Christmas Gifts For Beatty Memorial v Patients banned For Walkenon Area

Headquarters in Walkerton for the 1964 Christmas gut project for Ijeatty Memorial hospital will be at Dave and Ray's Super Market and at Jacob's Drug Store, as announced today by Mrs. Harry Malstaff and Mrs. Cloyd Smith, co-chairmen of the gift collection program. The two have been appointed by Mrs. Milton A. Butts, County chairman, who stresses that this program will enable the patients in our state hospitals and schools to share with us some of the joys of the holiday season. Each year, sororities, church groups and civic organizations, ►ck gifts from their members and other interested contributors. A quota of 4.263 gifts for men and women have been requested from St. Joseph County. The two headquarters in Walkerton will eon si st of a container where gifts may be left. Clubs may call either of the chairmen for pick Up. It Is reported that some youth groups are covering boxes with nft wrap for later placing of gifts. I Mrs. Malstaff is in charge of one day at the hospital in which twenty women will go to the gift wrapping room on December 9. at 10:30 to 4 30 EST.
