Tri Kappas Hears Os Progress On State I^evel Mrs. Donald Humicker of Hobart outlined latest state Tri Kappa projects at the Epsilon Chi chapter meeting Thursday in the home of Mrs. Robert Hiler, Walkerton. Mrs. Hunsieker, Provin e Nine Officer, noted that there are 13.000 Tri Kappa members in Indiana. During the last two-year period, the state-wide organizat ion has spent more than one-half million dollars in the areas of charity, culture and education, she added. Among the chief pr elects are scholarships to both high school and college str deni s. refurnishing the children’s conference and waiting room at Laßue Carter Memorial H< -pital in Indianapolis and an emergency fund for women students in 13 Indiana colleges. The Tri Kappa art collection now contains 79 paintings representing 68 artists, she said. Following her report, Mrs. Hunsicker received a chrysanthemum plant as a gift from the chapter.
