accepted as the student nurse to bp sponsored by the local club. She will begin her nurses' training this month at St. Joseph hospital in South Bend. Birthdays honored were those of Mrs Roy Newell, Mrs, Minnie Michalski and Mrs. Jessie Worrell. Mrs, Gus Verkier reviewed the year’s program as list«<l in the new year books given out. The next meeting will be Sept. 18 at the Town Club. Hostesses for the day were the four top otficers.
