Richard Kickbush attended the graduation of Richord Kickbusn who received his {Masters Decree from Ball State ^Teachers College. Muncie, in ceremonies held at 5:00 p.m. August 21.

Mr. and Mrs Max Clark and daughters, Jane. Julie and Katherine of Deabom, Michigan, were guests over the week end of Mr. and Mrs. William Heim and Mr. and Mrs. Rav Nusbaum. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hellinga and Jerry of Tyner Mrs. Clara Berg of North Judson, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Beag’ea and Sally attended the graduation exercises of Indiana State Troopers on the Indiana University Campus at Bloomington, Saturday morning where the recruits had been in training for several weeks. Roger Hellinga was sworn in for duty and will be stationed at Lafayette after September 1. He is the son of Mr. and Mis. Gerald Hellinga. Tyner.
Mr. and Mrs. James Bolze have returned home alter vacationing in the East. They visited Niagara Falls, World's Fair, Gittysburg, Pa., and also visited re atives and friends in Landisburg, I’a. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Northam and cludron, Mr. and Mrs. James Payton and children, and William Buchtel of North liberty, returned from a week’s vacation spent at Sioux Narrows, Ontario, Canada, on a fishing trip Lt. Col. and Mrs. Robert Clark and family who spent the past three years in Germany, has returned to the States' and is stationed at Fort Gordon, Georgia. Lt. Col. Clark _is a brother to Mrs. William Heim. Mrs. Richard Roberts and family left Monday for their home in Canoga Park, California, after pending several weeks here with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Beaty and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hahn accompanied Mr. and Mrs. James Farrer and son of Bremen to Fort Wayne Sunday where they attended the religious services, dances and ceremonials of the Grand Council of North American Indians held at Franke Park. Airman 3c Bruce Stoner, has returned to Lowry AFB, Denver, Colorado, to complete his schooling as an Electronic Technician after spending a twelve day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Stoner. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Ingram and Nonna Murphy, are spending this week visiting relatives in Missouri, then traveling to San Antonio, Texas, to see Asc Lee Ingram who will return home with them for a week’s visit. Mrs. Paul Kolmer and son. of Fort Wayne, are spending a few days this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schme’tz Karen and Lois Kolmer are visiting with their cousins, Linda and Brenda Mark in Niles. Michigan Monday callers in the Schmeltz home were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Walter of South Bend; Mrs. Mabel Travis and Eilene of WalkertonAttending the wedding of Miss Sandra Warren to Ernest Crilow in Nappanee last Fridav evening were Mr. and Mrs. Brooke Bowers. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Murphy and Norma, and Mrs. Ronald Nichols, all of Walkerton: Mrs. Herbert Mantick of LaPorte; Mrs. Bradley Nichols. Terry and Nancv, and Mrs. Damon Nichols of North Liberty. About two hundred friends and relatives calleel on Mr and Mrs. Otto Schmeltz on Sunday to help celebrate their 50th anniversary. Out of town callers were from Chicago. Niks. Buchanan and Monroe. Mich.: San DieP'o. Ca'if.; Fort Wayne. Culver. Plymouth. Knox. LaPorte. South Bend. New Carlisle, North Judson, Wakarusa, Michigan City. Lakeville. LaPaz, North Liberty Tyner and Gary. It was a day long to be remembered. Mrs. Dorothy Walsh Korbuly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Walsh of Walkerton, spent several days at home with her parents. Dorothy returned to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of Pasadena. California Tuesday, where she is the only permanently assigned technical editor on the Lunar space program. The recent Ranger-7 Moon Shot was one of her assignments, the success of tins tremendous project being an outstanding. unprecedented achievement for JPL applauded anound the world. Thousands of pictures were taken of the light side of the moon within an approximate eighteen inches of the surface. Mrs. Charles Worrell visited in the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Worre I of Edwardsburg, Michigan, last week. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Miller spent from Friday to Sunday visiting Mrs. Herbert Miller in Downers Grove, 111. Mrs. Miller returned home with them for a visit. Mrs. Ethel Simons of Salt Lake City Utah, returned to her home alter spending two weeks visiting her sister and husband. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kemp. Dennis Stil’son returned from Elizabeth City. North Carolina, where he spent the summer, to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stillson Jr . Mr. and Mrs. John Bessfer and daughter, Pamela, of Escondido, California, returned to their home Tuesday after being ca'led here by the illness of Mrs. Besnier's father. Walter Cover. Mr. Cover, a surgical patient at Holy Family hospital, LaPorte. was moved to the Walkerton Nursing Home this week.
