North Liberty Mr. and Mrs. Walter Worthington were Friday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Albert in South Bend. J. W. Gentry is in satisfactory condition in Memorial hospital, suffering from a heart attack in his home Thursday. Don Ransbottom, son of Mrs. Blanche Ransbottom, is home on leave. He has been stationed at the Amarillo Air Force Base, but upon completion nf his leave, will be stationed in California. Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. Harry' Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Reed visited Mrs. Gertrude Sousley at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Fults, at Lake of the Woods. Fourth of July guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Beron and family were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Naragon, of Walkerton, and Mr and Mrs. Gerald Naragon of Osceola. Mrs. Mary Armstrong and Sharon, Charles Hammel. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Southworth, and Miss Penny Cline of Lafayette, have returned home after spending several days with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sims and Kay. Mr. and Mrs. Robi rt Bal’ley and Tanya attende the Appalachian institute Bible Conference at Beckley. West Virginia, last week. Dr. Frank Lairy was the main’ rpeaker. Jack Spalanko was the missionary speaker, and Rev. and Mrs. Vaughn Sprunger was in charge of music. Mr. and Mrs. Max Steele and family entertained several guests a|. their cottage at Bass Lake. ; Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Garold Nickel and children of South Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Steele and family of Mishawaka, and HMrard Rensberger of Mrdmi, Florida.

Mrs. Del Pearse was taken to the hospital in Warsaw on Tuesday, following a fall in her home. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Worthington attended the Galien Centennial in Galien, Michigan, on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Clem Mamerow and Junior were guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Shields at Diamond Lake on Saturday.
