Craig Anderson pitched the Cubs to their first victory and the Dodgers third loss. Bill Snyder led the Cubs' attack while Dan Holmes got the only Dodger hit. Dodgers 3 Minor league Standings: Yanks 2 0 Braves 1 0 Cubs 11 Dodgers 0 3 On Thursday, the Twins of the Major League beat the White Sox 8 to 5. The Sox were leading 5 to 3 ‘going into the bottom of the third, but the Twins rushed over four runs in that inning to make the difference. Ricky Luke struck out five of the last six men to bat for the Sox. Bill Albert allowed only one hit to the Twins, but walks coupled with three errors in the drastic third, told the story. Kenny Ross and Dennie O'Connor got two hits each for the Sox. The weatherman prevented the A’s from completing a game as rain fell after l’i innings with the score 2 to 1 in favor of the Phillies. The game will be completed on June 30 when the two teams meet again. Weather again badgered the league; however, not until a full game was declared. The Phillies came out on top of the White Sox 2 to 1. The Phils scored in the bottom of the third to break the tie. Due to the severe storm warnings, the game was called after three innings which constitutes a completed game in this league. Bill Albert and Dennie O’Connor got one hit each for the Sox and Darwin Hotetler and Ronnie Young got a hit each for the Phillies. Hostetler scored the
