Mr and Mrs. William Trago spent the week end in Chicago as guests of Mrs. Ruth Dipert. We regret to report the passing of Mrs. Bertha Phillips, age 85, who died suddenly in the home of her son. George in Chicago, where .she has resided the past two years. She died on Monday and burial will be Thursday in Mt. Greenwood cemetery, in Chicago. Besides her son, she is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Alice Foster, of Lansing, 111. Mrs. Phillips had resided at the lake for a period of over 38 years prior to her removal to Chicago two years ago and her many friends mourn her passing.
