Mrs. Bertha Schrader went with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Geyer. Maple Grove, to Marion. Monday, where they attended the Marion College Commencement. The Geyer's granddaughter. Mrs. Sharon Tice, was one of the graduates. Mrs. Floyd Downhour. Mrs Hazel Elliott, Mrs. Arthur Floran and Mrs. Merlin E. Walters of the Star Neighborhood Club are attending the Homemaker's Conference at Purdue this week. They also attended the graduation exercises of Robert Rauen at St. Patricks. Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. William Doan entertained at a chicken barbecue dinner for their daughter Lisa's second birthday. HONORED AT SHOWER Miss Kathy Mangus was the honor guest at a linen shower last Wednesday night given by Miss Janet Roush, at her home on South Main St. Miss Mangus will be married to Wilburt Tetzlaff June 13th. Games and contests were enjoyed. Prizes were won by Mrs Loren Sparer Jr , Miss Cheryl Shearer. Mrs. Harley Mangus, Mrs. Kenneth Doan and Miss Brenda Carroll.
