ROBERT H. HARPER HOWH EXPLOSION The poet has written, “What is so rare as a day in June?" Put lie lived about a thousand mihs north of where I live and I might say that it all depends upon Where you live that determines What day is rare. We have read ©r heard much recently about the population explosion, today—to be exact the last day but one of March, when these lines are written—l can see what I would call a flower explosion all about me. The roadside is turning green •nd pecan trees which, according to old tradition, are never caught by the cold, are budding, a ’obin redbreast has appeared and then gone on toward the north, and Other birds are busy about the place. And the flowers! All over our city the azaleas are in full bloom, blue phlox, pansy, violet, Iris, calendula, daffodil, and else, •11 these make a flower explosion that should not alarm any of us. You will bear in mind that I •m writing a month in advance of pour reading. What more can be Baid of the floral beauty that greets your eyes as you may look off from the reading? And you Should be prepared to receive the lesson the Master emphasized When he said: “Consider the lilies ©f the field, how they grow. They toil not, neither do they spin, and EI say unto you that Solomon all his glory was not arrayed i one of these."

Revival Is A * Great Success The revival meeting which closed Saturday night at the First Baptist Chur h was a great success. Every evening service was well attended. Also, there was good interest in the morning services. As a result of prayer and the powerful preaching of Gods Word by Dr. James Lee, many decisions for Christ were made. Several accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour; others renewed their vows to God and dedicate themselves to the service of Jesus Christ. With an increase in zeal and devotion to God, Walkerton's newest church is determined to extend and improve its ministry to the people of this area. Plans are now being made to enlarge the present building at the corner of Clark and Main Streets. Pastor Benny Miller is continuing his mesa&gea on Sunday evenings from the book of Revelations. This Sunday night at 7 o’clock he will be dealing with God's judgement which is to fall in the near future upon the ecumenical church as recorded and prophesied in Rev. 17. Everyone is urged to hear this interesting prophetic message. PRESBYTERIAN MOTHER AND DAUGHTER NIGHT Wednesday, May 20, will be our Mother-Daughter Night.
