Small Turnout At Membership Tea For 4-H A membership tea wa . held by the Lincolmite Girls l-H (’l’.b Sunday afternoon at the High School. There were only fourteen mothers ; resent, seven of whom were on the hostess commit!• e. Prcimmtions had been made for more than one hundred gin ts to be entertained. It was su h a lovely warm Sunday afternoon, and it is hoped that only som< irresistible force kept the parents away. Surely it couldn't be tliat they were not interested in supervised activity for their children. The Girl's Club president. Jackie Tuttle, welcomed the guests present and also introduced her club officers. Share the Fun Talent conte tant - entertained during the program. They were Michael Westhues, guitar solo: Carol Tuttle a pantomime and later, Carol and her sister. Diura. performed a duo pantomime to records. The Beattie act. here has teen expanded with s| cakmg parts between the pantomime to records M'»st entertaining. the girls performing were Carlcne Cripe, Carole Mann. Roberta Van Pyke and Kathy Merkel. Delicious party punch ice cream floats were served with cookies. Tin' serving table was centered with a beautiful ainmgement of mixed garden flowers. The women of the advisory board were hostesses. SEVENTH GRADE ENJOYS FOLK and SQI ARE DAM ING Monday night the seventh grade students and their teachers, Pick Kickbush and Genevieve Dailey, ha I a class party at the Walkerton Elementary S hool. The party began at 7 no o'clock and consisted of folk, square and so nil dancing which the boys and girls had learned as a Health project. , We had a wiener roast, potato chips and pop for retre. hment s.
