NFO Discussions To Be Aired On WNDU-TV A group of local NFO farmers joined with their vice-president Erhard Pfungsten at the WNDU Studio in South Bend in a panel discussion making a tape for MidWest Farm Report which will be shown on WNDU-AV Channel 16, April 26. at 12:30 to 1:00 o'clock. This program will be the first in a 13-week series of programs to a quaint the viewing public in general, the fanner in particu’ar. with the National Farmers Organization. Unis tape will be used all over the mid-west in future broadcasts. We have fifty stations putting on these telecasts at present. Those taking part listed in the order in which they appear on the panel are: Paul Schmueker. Nappanee, membership chairman. Elkhart County; Carl Heiser. Culver. chairman of the Mid-West Fann Report: William Marohn. of North Liberty, publicity chairman St. Joseph County; Carlyle Buss. Three Walkerton Boys Place In Science Fair Students from Walkerton High School who entered the Regional Science Fair at Manchester College April 11th were Larry Schmeltz. Kenneth Murphy and Jim Naragon. Larry Schmeltz placed first in the Conservation Division with his exhibit on "Animal Tracks and Seeds frnin Trees of Northern Indiana."
