Methodists Conduct Two Services The Walkerton Methodist Church will conduct two morning worship services each Sunday at 8:30 and 10:35 a m. The Sunday School session will be conducted at 9:30 with M< Ivin Divine as Superintendent. This Sunday in the 8:30 service there will be a special selection in music, and Mrs Ronald Gray will serve as organist. The pastor will deliver the sermon for this service. During the 10 35 service, the church will join with other community churches in observing pulpit exchange Sunday with Rev. Paul Loucks of the United Missionary church, as guest minister The adult choir, under the direction of Sylveter Amsler, will participate in this service and Mrs. Bertha Urbin will be organist. <

□— — — DEATHS □ — —. M Q Mrs. Rose Ellen Knowlton Mrs. Rose Ellen Knowlton, 96 Walkerton, died at 1:30 pm. Tu<- - day, in the Holy Family hospital, Ld’orte, after a long illness. Bh« wa. born August 12, 1867 ( in Marshall County, Indiana. She wa ■ married February 7, 1885, in Plymouth to Martin Jackson, who preceded her in death. She then was married to Levi Knowlton who also preceded her In death. She i survived by one daughter, Mrs. N ra Benninghoff, Knox, and three n Gust Jackson, Indianapolis: Elmer J. Jackson, LaPorte, and Lee Jackson. Albany, Oregon; 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grand' .iildren; two a-ters, Mrs Emma Davis, Walkerton, and Mr- Charles Ruff, Plymouth. Friends may call after 2:00 p. m. Thur div at the Nu-baum Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 pm. EST Friday with Rev David Filer, pastor of the Walkerton E I’B. Church officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery. Clarence Davis Clarence (Ed i Davis, 72, routs 1. I^Cnosse, died at 4:20 a.m. Saturday at his farm home near LaCrosse. He was bom in Warren County, Ind., Sept. 8, 1891 and ha<l lived in the LaCrossa area for 23 years, going there from Walkerton He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Masonic Lodge at Kingsbury.
