Reception To Honor Three This Sunday ‘Stars and Stripes’’ is the theme of the public reception for Miss Barbara Ann Lidy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lidy, Walkerton, Grand American Flag Bearer. International Order of Rainbow for Girls in Indiana, and Alfred Drews, Grand Lecturer, District 1. and Mrs. Drews, Grand Chairman. District 1, of the Indiana Rainbow Order, to lx* held Sunday, April 5, at 2 o'clock. In the Grade School building Grand Worthy Advisor. Karen Camden. Linton; Grand Christian Flag Bearer, Miss Nancy Smock of Ninevah, along with other grand officers, will attend. A slumber party for the Grand officers will be hostessed at the Lidy home Saturday night. Mrs. Lidy is Mother Advisor of the local assembly. Included in the program will be Rev. James M. Campbell of Plymouth who will entertain with his musical program. The general public is extended ; a cordial Invitation.

Spelling Bee Matches Schools The annual Spelling Bee he. tween Grovertown and St. Patrick's School, was conducted at the Grovertown PT A. meeting recently. Steven Zlatos, son of Mr. and Mrs William Zlatos, was the champion speller and won the trophy for St. Patrick School According to the rules, St. Patwill be allowed to keep the trophy as this is their third win. Tri Kappa To Meet Thursday The Epsilon Chi Chapter of Tri Kappa will meet Thursday evening, April 2. at the home of Mrs Mahlon Jacob. There will be a pledge ceremony for the new pledges. Cohostesses for the evening will be Mrs. Dale Aukerman. Mrs Robert Bauss and Mrs. Stanley Orcutt. 28 CLI'B TO MEET The 23 Club will meet with Mrs. Irene Roser on Tuesday evening at 7:30. April 7th.
