Spelling Contests Begin April 7 In North Liberty Grades 3-4-5 of the North Liberty Elementary School will be holding their spelling elimination contest on Tuesday. April 7. at 2:15 p,m. in the Elementary Gym. At this spelling contest, the children will spell down so that six remain for the champion hip battle on April 21, at the regular April P.T.A. meeting. N. L. List« School Vacation And Senior Trip The North Liberty Schools, of the South Bend School Corporation. will close at 11:50 a.m. Friday morning for Easter vacation This will extend until Monday. April 6. when classes resume at the normal times. During the vacation break, 24 members of the North Liberty Senior Class will take a seven day class trip in a caravan of five busses carrying students from the South Bend Community School Corporation to Washington, D. C., New York and other points of interest in the east. The group will meet at Washington High School at 2:00 pm. and leave at 3:00 on Easter Sunday. They wiU return after seven days with the group. Included with the 24 North Liberty students and chaperones, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Holmgren, will be several students from Greene and Riley. The other four busses will haul students of the other South Bend Schools. CLCB MEETING NOTICE The Liberty Township Home Demonstration Club will meet at the home of Mrs Dick School for an all day meeting April 2. A lesson. Vacations In Indiana will be given by Mrs. Singer.
