Walkerton ; Mr®. Herbert Henson of Don■oisviHe, Ohio, is here visiting fear daughter, Mrs. Jerry Beghtel and family, and her parents, Mr. a^id Mrs. Wesley Whitteberry. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Lisiecki ■tid son, Vic, of St. Petersburg. Florida, are visiting Mr. and ltrs. J. Dean Knowlton and family. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hiler and children, Jack and Patty, returnhomo Tuesday evening from a two weeks vacation touring Florida. While there they visited with Mrs. James Murray in St. Petersburg for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Thomas and children returned last Wede^lay from a week’s visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Lee Thomas and daughter in Centralia, Missouri. On Thursday, Mrs. Ira Lee Thomas came and spent uotil Sunday with the Ronald Thomas family. She accompanied Mrs. Marge Billings and fami.y, fanner LaPorte residents who visited relatives there. BABY SHOWER Mrs. Larry Lowry was guest of honor at a baby shower in the home of Mrs. Anna Drake. Seventeen guests were present and a gift was sent by Mrs. Dorothy Sheaks who was unable Co attend. Several games were enjoyed by the group. Prizes were received bv Mrs. Ollie Giede. Mrs. Minnie Taylor, Mrs. Richard Anderson Jr., Mrs. Duwayne Burch. Mrs. Dowry and Miss Sandra Schmeltz. A pink and blue crepe paper bassinett held the gifts. Mrs. i Lowry received many lovely gifts for the future baby. Delicious refreshments were S?rved by the hostess with clever sork name cards decorating each p’^te.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jackson and daughters returned home Saturday evening after a six weeks vacation in Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. Spencer •f Elkhart and Mr. and Mrs. Jack B. Spencer, Barbara and John of Culver, were Sunday guests of Mrs. J. F. Spencer. Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Jacob and children, Jeff and Jennifer, returned home Tuesday evening after a ten days vacation in Florida, where they visited Mr. Jacob's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Jacob in Bradenton. They also called on the Bob Gardners parents. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Gardner in Bradenton and stopped for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Finch in Daytona. BIRTHS A son was born March sth to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Youdbulis. Mrs. Martha Young spent a week with her new grandson. Todd Lee, in South Bend. Mr. and Mrs. John Everman are the parents of a baby girl bom March 21. Mrs. Everman was formerly June Peddycord. Mr. and Mrs. Warner Drews Jr., of North Liberty, are parents of a daughter bom March 20 in St. Joseph's hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kickbush are the parents of a 7 lb. 10 1 ? oz. baby girl bom Sunday. March 22 In Holy Family hospital. She has been named Marina Ruth. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Beghtel are the parents of a daughter, Debra May. bom March 21 in Holy Family hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Wilson are the parents of a son bom March 23 in Osteopathic hospital. South Bend. A daughter was bom March 21 in Osteopathic hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Carmichael.
