. I 40-Inch Fish Caught At Koontz Lake ' H 5
I’cte Ullman of Route 1. Walk- " erton, residing northeast of Koontz Likc. caugni a 17 pound northern pike at the east end of the lake last week. It was 4u inches in length and caught with a minnow and had great difficulty in getting him up thru the hole in the ice. It was the second largest fish caught in our lake, the largest being caught by the late Emil Anderson, founder of the Anderson Hotel, about 35 years ago. It was a 23 pound northern pike and it wan mounted and is now on display in the Koontz Lake Conservation Club House.
