W. Amick were Mr. and Mrs Lewis Kepler of Argos. Mr, and Mrs Duane Davis and two sons of Valparaiso, were guests of Mr. and Mrs William Simpkins on Sunday. Kim Cook, of Michigan City, was a week end guest of her grandfather and aunt. Elmer Ha’lke and Mrs Elsie McKay. On Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Harry J Fries and two children of Chicago, were guests of Mr. and Mrs Harry L. Fries Sunday, the Fries were in Kokomo to attend a meeting of State Officers of the Indiana Volunteer Firemen’s Association Mr and Mrs. Hans Knudson of Gary were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Prentiss. William Cambell, father of Mrs. Prentiss. Is spending a month with his daughter. He lives m Gary. The Quad County Citizens Band Club of Northern Indiana, held their monthly meeting February 5 at the Conservation club house. There were 35 members and nine visitors present. Following a short business meeting. Mrs Victor Winrotte and her asst tant Mrs Joe Stintson of the Marshall County First Aid. gave a First Aid demonstration. The club is now investigating the p ibility of starting a first aid course. Refreshments were served by Dee Hostetler, Jean Berndt and Au drey Reed Mr. and Mrs. Clare Farnham returned home after a two weeks trip to southern United States They stopped at Dalton. Ga , to visit with Mr. Farnham’s brother, E. A. Farnham, and then for a few days at Zephyr Hills. Florida, to visit Mrs. Farnham’s father, Louis Ijuta. They also »’opped at Palm Bay to visit the Delbert Stutzmans. Other places they visited were Sarasota. St Augustine and Cape Kennedy. On their way south and enroute home, they stopped off at Bloomington to visit their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mm Harry Lung, where Mr. Lung is a student at Indiana University Mr. and Mrs Floyd Rnwn and daughters, entertained a gathering on Sunday to celebrate ths birthday of John Brown of Plymouth, father of Mr Br<»wn Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Brown of Elkhart, the lx>we|l Brown family of Plymouth; Mr and Mrs Lavon Miller.
