N >r’ uern Nigeria, as guest speaker m the morning worship service al 10:35 a.m. David is presently enrolled as a student at Bethel College. At the age of eight, he was sent to school at Jcbba, Nigeria. Upon completion of his elementary education, he taught for three years. He then entered a teacher training sclio »l <4>cmtcd by the Sudan interior Mission. An excellent recoru was made at this school over a period ot four years'and he was then appointed as one of the tutors in a teacher training school at Igbeti in Nigeria. After several years at this assignment. David attended the Nigerian Government Kura! Science School. Upon completion of this course. David became the house master of the teacher training school at Igbeti. He served ui this position until he came to the United States. David is enrolled in the course loading to the degree of B.S. in educalion After c«>mpletmg further work in this tield, h* expects to r*-luin to his native country to help develop the educational standards ut his people. She was born February 5, 1878, in l^aHolm Sweden, and came to the United Stales 62 years ago and moved to the Plymouth community 19 years ago from Chicago. She was married August 24. 1903. in Chicago, to Charles M. Peterson who survive.. Other survivors include one daughter, Mis. Beatrice Hilgeman. Muskeg n. Michigan, two f >n*, C. Herman Petcmm.
