LIONS TO START SCHOLARSHIP DRIVE
Shamrocks Top Indians On Free Throws 72-63 North Liberty's Shamrocks simply out hustled Walkerton Friday night as they won a 72-63 victory for their thrd win of the season. Both teams have identical 3-10 records. The game, played on North Liberty's floor, laced good clean play and officiating. The whistles just about took over the game. Peterson opened the scoring with a long one hander from the side and after a minute had elapsed. Porter hit a free throw. Arce opened the scoring fur the Indians with a 17 foot jumper Doug Lute gave the Indians the lead with a 10 footer from the left side Cam tied the score with a free throw, but Tlrry Lute hit one for Walkerton. Porter made it 6-5 with a jumper but Terry Lute htl a basket for the Indians. He added a free throw for an 8-6 Ic .d Aicc hit a pair of free throw but the Shamrocks came back with baskets by Hostetler and Cam Morrison hit hi-* first of the night Ho-teticr hit a free throw. and Porter stuffed in two one-pointers, trimming the lead to 16-14 Byn Williams hit from the foul line and Van Wangcele hit from the side to complete the first qua! ter scoring 2014. The second period was mostly played from the foul lines as the Shamrocks grabbl'd the lead in this quarter on the basis of 15 free throws.
