COUNTY TOURNEY STARTS WEDNESDAY

Singspiration To Be Held In Walkerton Jan. 19 A Singspiration has been planned for Walkerton. Thia Is hoped to become a regular event for the town and is backed by the Walkerton Ministerial Association The first one is planned for Sunday. January 19. at the Prebyterian Church. IBU * k* ■ For the first such program, real treat will be added to make it as (me as could be expected. Joe Chitwood, a music Instructor from Crown Point, will be the guest artist. His versatility and leadership will add greatly to the program He will accompany the group at the organ, bringing his three sons. and present spe< ial music and be the leader of the program. He i* a composer and recording artist and has wide acclaim in this field A highlight of the event will be a local men's chorus Sylvester Amsler will direct this chorus and it is hoped that 40 voices < m be combined from focal churchi । to form this gr up A prartkc for the men’s chorus v ill be ”• I this Sunday. This also is in conjunction with the Town Board. Several other projects are m the making, but will have further investigation before they can he discussed with the group Membership will be in full stride in the next couple of week with Dr Rohrer in charge.
