We, The Candidates, Endorse And Believe In The Principles Os The Democratic Party And Added Improvements For A Bigger And Better Walkerton. We feel that the Town of Walkerton is in a good position to invite new industry to settle in the communitv. We promise a vigorous and untiring effoit in promotin'' and procuiing new industry to provide a brighter future for our ever growing population. We hlmi favor the continuation of better streets and parking. We would explore a plan whereby the badly needed sidewalks would be repaired with Ir** co-1 to propeitv owners. We propose to improve all municipal operations. We feel that with the proper support and operating through the proper channels, we will get results. We also believe with a properly planned program, we can plan better park facilities and Ireautify our park for more people to enjoy. A summer and winter recreation program is a must in our growing population of younger people. We believe that if given the proper consideration by the people in the community and the proper planning, Walkerton could have a nice public ■swimming pool.
