Grovertown To Present Senior Play Nov. 1-2 W hen the Grovertown seniors present the "Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's C)urt" Friday and Saturday nights, November 1 and 2 at 7:30, they will feature an all star east of players in this delightfully entertaining story. It tells, you may remember, of a shrewd and clever Yankee who finds himself in King Arthur's court, and who develops all the miracles of the twentieth century to baffle the court of King Arthur. Fennie Sable, who plays the rok* of Queen Guenever offers an excellent characterization of a domineering queen who practically runs the good-natured and somewhat discouraged King Arthur. who is played extremely well by Paul Freed. Quee.n Morgan LeFay. the scheming, blackhearted woman.

We, The Candidates, Endorse And Believe In The Principles Os The Democratic Party And Added Improvements For A Bigger And Better Walkerton. We feel that the Town of Walkerton is in a good position to invite new industry to settle in the communitv. We promise a vigorous and untiring effort in promoting and procuring new industry to provide a brighter future for our ever growing population. We also favor the continuation of better streets and parking. We would explore a plan whereby the badly needed sidewalks would be repaired with less cost to property owners. We pitipo.se to improve all municipal operations. We pledge an honest effort to obtain support from surrounding communities to present through proper channels our problems concerning Highways 23 and 6 which serve many people from this area. We feel that with the proper support and operating through the pi oper channels, we will get results. We also believe with a properly planned program, we can plan better park facilities and beautify our park for more people to enjoy. A summer and winter recreation program is a must in our grow ing population of younger people. We believe that if given the proper consideration by the people in the community and the proper planning, Walkerton could have a nice public swimming pool. We promise our efforts to carry out the above Democratic Platform. Please give us your support on November sth for a better W alkei ton. win send shivers up and down you when you witness Jean Lenz in this role. Her villainous partner is none other than the magician Merlin. Larry Bigler portrays this part so realistically that you will probably have trouble sleeping afterwards. Sandy and Elaine are two very charming young ladies of the court, and they are very charmingly played by Stephany Kiryluk and Cindy Moerman. B'>b Wieczork as Hank Bennett, the difficult and screamingly funny Connecticut Yankee, will keep you delighted with his antics. Marion, his sister, is breezily and happily played by Linda Brown and Bonnie IMpert in the only double cast part in the play. Mrs. Bennett, the harassed mother of Hank, is handled expertly by Virginia Zigler Clarence, the mischievous page boy, is played with a great deal of vigor by Mike Sullivan while John Hensler and Don Ward show how they would liave been very excel
