Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Harbaugh were Monday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. John Marshall of Walkerton. Miss Jackie Rosso w of South Rend was a week end guest of Miss Susan Steele at Bass Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Snyder spent the week end) at Freeman I^ake visiting his brother, Carl Hamlin. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clingenpeel madd a trip to Charlori, Pa , last week end where they visited relatives. Misses Linda O’Connor and Karen O'Connor returned home last week from Western Michigan University. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Zellers and the Elmer Barden family of Camden. Indiana, returned home Mon day night from a fishing trip to Canada and Cedarville. Mich. Skip Knight who will be wed to Miss Karen O’Connor on August 24, and his brother Steve of Medford, Oregon, are visiting in North Liberty. Mr. and Mrs Ray Harris have returned to their home in San lx*andro, California, following a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jones and family. There were sixteen guests present at the home of Mrs. Ida Byam in South Bend for a bridal shower honoring Miss Karen O'Connor. Howard Rensberger of Miami, Forida was a Monday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Max Steele and family. Mrs. Raymond Cooper, Mrs. Wayne Rows, Mr». John Schrader, Mr*. Robert CUngen peel* and Mrs. Florence Jone# attended the Indiana Wesleyan Methodist Annual Conference at the Camp Ground in Fairmount last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Clem Mamerow and son were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Shields at Diamond Lake Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Oberly and Mrs. Ethel Oberly of Wyatt; Mr. and Mrs. William ' Hock and family and Mrs. Dorothy Heck of Tippecanoe, and Mrs. Jack Cunningham and I daughters of Gary. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Rudynski and family were Saturday evening visitors of Louis Rudynski of New Carlisle. Mr. and Mrs. John Beron and famiy were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Naragon of Osceola. Mrs. Roy Freeman. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Stump and Mrs. Roy Horrall, all of North Liberty. plan to attend the Farm Bureau State Institute at Ball State. They will leave Monday and stay three days N EU ( OMEK-^TI^fP REUNION The 60th annual reunion of the Newcomer and Stump families was held Sunday. August 11 at the Claude Sheneman grove with present to enjoy the noon meal. Thd oldest person present was Mrs. Prank Keiser and the youngest Tammy Patrick. The officers were held over for another year. They were: president. Pearl Stull; vice president. Claude Sheneman; secretary and treasurer, Blanche Pontius. The 61st reunion will he held at the same place next year. STAR Rev. and Mrs. James Pierce completed their pastorate here Sunday night and are moving this week After the Sunday night service, the church group had a get-together with refreshments in the social room at the parsonage. Rev and Mrs. Thomas Duvall and family are moving from IgiPorte into the Star Church parsonage this week. His pastorate begins next Sunday.
