However, with a grounder, pop-up. and a fly ball, no runs scored Ona more runner reached for Walkerton as Denny Northam lead off the third with a hit before the run scoring fifth inning Bob Lute started the ball rolling with a single and advanced to third on a long drive by Bob Northam th.,• had home run written all ovei it.

In the sixth, Howard boomed a tuple with two out and Jim Ridcnours double completed the s< oring for the night. Two runners reached base against Lute as he walked Lany Hay leading off the second inning. He was er.isert in a double play and not another man leached until Stan Schlemmei was hit with a pitched hall with one out in the seventh He died on lust a a fly ball and grounder back to Lute ended the game.
