South played low with jack and lead was won by East's king. East returned small heart and South won with dummy ace. South drew the trumps in three rounds, sluffed a club on second diamond trick, then led ace and king of dube and gave up last trick to West’s queen of clubs to make five. CX)MMENT: South could have made six with this band. He should have taken the load with the heart ace, sluffed the losing heart on king of diamonds, then drawn the trumps. He could then have turned to clubs, where he would have lost only one trick. The man with a sense of humor haa found the fountain of youth.
