Cripe - Reese ML«m» Nancy Sue Cripe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charleg Ci ipe Jr., became the bride of Lewis Russell Rees?, son of Mr and Mrs. Lewis E. Reese, Mill Creek, Indiana, Sunday, May 5 at sewn o’clock in the evening ».i The Walkerton E U. B Chu-ch. Rev. David Eiler presided at the double ring ceremony before an alt ir banked with palms and two Swedish steel seven branch candelabra. Mrs. Larry Lowry, Walkerton, sang “Always," “Because" and ‘"Wedding Prayer." accompanied on the console by Mrs. Nelson Walz, The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a floor-length gown of Chantilly lace and nylon tulle over taffeta. The molded b idjce was styled with a sabrina neckline, decorated with irides* , nt sequins. Tiie long sleeves came to a bridal point at the hand. Her full skirt was high-lighted with rows of tulle ruffles, edged m lace, at the back. Her elbowbngth veil of imported illusion was caught on the sides with a seed pearl rosette She carried a white Bible on which rested an arrangement of red roses and white carnations, with a shower of white satin streamers and lovers knot*. The maid of honor. Miss Margaret Martin, Walkerton, and bi idesmaids. Miss Eileen Huhnke, Walkerton, and Mrs. Eldon Stuber of Bremen, wore identical gowns of pink eyelet Enka Nylon, fashioned with round necklines and full skirts Self material bows down the front of the dresaea vere the only trimming. pink satin leaves and white satin Streamers. Dennis Deese of Mill Creek, served his brother as best man. Candle lighters were the Misses Kay Cripe, sister of the bride, and Kitty Cripe, niece of the bride. Miss Kari Cripe, another sister of the bride, served as flower girl. They all wore identical dresses of pink nylon with white lace ruffles A band of pink flowers were in their hair and they wore cor ages of white carnations. Master Mike Erdelyi, nephew of the bride, carried the rings on a white satin pillow. He wore a light blue suit. Ushers were Ronnie Norris, Fish Like, ami Harold Rensberger Jr., of Mill Creek. A reception for 350 guests was held at the Walkerton Elementary School following the ceremony. A tom tiered wedding cake centered the bridal table. Red and white was < irried out in the decor. Mrs. Garry Hostetler, North Liberty. Mr- Robert Erdelyi, Mrs. Albert Huhnke Jr., and Mrs. Devon Smith were in charge of the .serving. The couple left immediately on a trip around Like Michigan, after which they will be at home on Rt. 1. Mill Creek. Mrs Reese’s going away costume wa a yellow double knit three piece uit with brown trimming. Her accessories were white.
