Also entered were three mathmatics students, Larry Kane, in Comprehensive B and Terry Fraser in Comprelhcixe A. both taught by Everett Holmgren, and Larry Hostetler in geometry, taught by Mrs. Ann Russ in ex- « client state-wide competition, Larry Hostetler won a bronze medal. This is the greatest number of students ever qualified by North Liberty for the Suite Finals. Selected For Academic Institute James Guttman has been selected to attend ar. academic year institute in general science, sponsored by the National Science Foundation at Michigan State University. Tlw institute is designed especially for teachers of general science. Forty-five appointments from applicants throughout the United States were made. The program will extend fr m September 16 to June 13. 1964. Mr. Guttman ha.s been granted a y -ars leave of absence by the Manon-Adams School board to participate in tins honor and op- ; ort unity.
