Two Accidents Top Police News Two property damage accidents this past week top the police news as only two other arrests were reported. On August 23 Mrs. Irene Lidy was backing from an angle parking place on Van Buren Street and stopped when she saw an auto driven by Mrs. Phyllis Turner approaching. However. Mrs Turner didn't see the backed car in time and hit the right front section of her car and the rear section of the Lidy vehicle. Neither person was injured but damages to the Turner car were reported at $125.00 and $150.00 to t’je Lidy car. The home schedule this year lists Walkerton, Three Oaks, Rolling Prairie (homecoming), River Forest and North Judson.
