Given in marriage by her father. the bride chose a gown of polon lined, white dupioni silk The basque bodice featured elbow length sleeves and was elegantly detailed with an Alencon lace Sabrina neckline accented with tiny seed pearl trim. Tiny selfcovered buttons extended down the back. The bell-shaped skirt fell from an empire waistline, extending in the back into a chapel train and highlighted with a bustle back. Four large lace medallions outlined with pearls were arranged on the skirt front. Her tiara of orange blossoms and pearls held in place her mid-back veil of French illusion. She carried a crescent shaped bouquet of white orchids and stephanotis. Miss Robin Sutter. Perrysburig. Ohio, college roommate of the bride was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Judy Faucett, Gary, Ind., Miss Bernice Pratt. Walkerton, and Miss Mary Maxon of St. Louis, Mo. They wore powder blue street length dresses of silk organza over taffeta, styled with semi-belled skirts and bisque bodices and matching shoes. Their headpieces were downs of blue organza, holding chin length veils The maid of honor was dressed in identical attire in ice blue.
