CIII’JSTIAX LI I-KLINES "But when he came to himself he said, ... I will arise and go to my father.” Luke 15:17. 18 . I In the story of "Tlie Prodigal Son” we see the story of a man who, in despair, turns from his chosen way and returns to his father In this story told by Jesus, because the prodigals efforts in the world are a failure he finds himself and a better life by returning home This same 'Story told in the reverse, shows us that by finding life or success ■ based only on the material world he sacrifices the better way the eternal soul. , One must choose whether he will serve the world or God. This is the problem which each of us must face. As we live in the world which God has created and has given us ! dominion over, we must ever live so that we are holding up I God before all men sharing God's love with all men. Al- 1 though we have personal desires, we must not. like the pnshgal put our personal pleasures nor worldly gam ahead of the will of God for our lives.
