Mr. and Mrs. John Cullar have sold their home on Tamarack Road to Darw in Davis, who, with his family will take possession at once. The Cullars new address will be WL Bnarway, in Twykenham. Jenny Beiler, Mrs. Frank Keiser, and Mrs Alma Van Winkle were recent visiters of Miss Anna Steele at the Haven Hubbard Home in New Carlisle. 100 Mile Stock Car Race New To , Indiana State Fair The addition of a 100-mile stock car race to the list of special attractions at the Indiana State Fair will give auto race fans in this area an opportunity to see two distinctly different types of high-speed competition on the same fast track this summer. The stock car event will be run under the lights on the night of Wednesday. Sept. 5. with 30 ears in the starting lineup It will bo the first stock car race ever held on the Indiana State Fair s onemile dirt oval under US AC sanction, and National Champion Paul Goldsmith is expected to head the entry list with several other "600" veterans also bidding for victory. The tenth annual Hoosier Hundred for USAC championshiptype race cars, as usual, will be a Saturday afternoon event on Sept 15. after the State Fair closes. The starting field for the Hoosier Hundred will be limited to the 18 fastest qualifiers with A J.
