Purchases Two Buses For St. Patrick School" Mrs. John Garab Jr., was ele t•d president of the St. Patrick's Women’s Club last Wednesday at their annual picnic dinner meeting. The affair was held at the K<wntz I^ake home of Mrs. Del Blocher. Others elected were Mrs. Jerry Raines, vice president; Mrs. Charles Neary, secretary, and Mrs. Clyde Gaw, treasurer. Mrs. Eiville Kaercher presided in the absence of the president, Mrs. Ora Harder. Highlight of the meeting was the purchase of two new 60 passenger 1962 model school buses for St. Patrick School at a cost ©f $12,000. The club set $4,000 towards their cost. Other business was the announcement of the annual fall fashion show which will he staged in October by Wyman's Department Store, with Mrs. Howard Knowlton making the arrangements. A bake sale was set following each of the masses this Sunday and another bake sale the last Sunday in August. It was agreed to dispense with the regular Atugust 1 meeting fund instead go in a body to the Lady of Fatima Retreat, Notre Dame, August 8. with the DCCW.
