Police News The Walkerton Police had two disorderly conduct cases this past week that ended in fines for the involved persons. George Hemminger. no residence, and Richard Sills, LaPorte, were arrested at separate times early Saturday morning on July 7th. on this charge. Each paid a fine and cn./s totaling S2IOO. Al o on July 7. Phillip Bealor. LaPor e. was arrested for speeding in Walkerton. His case < om> before the Justice of the Peace this Friday. Franklin Lindaman, Oakland, Calif., was picked up by the Walkerton Police and the Indiana State Police on July 6th after he bad been seen stealing a tire from a car. After a couple of hours of hiding, he was found and taken to the St. Joseph County Jail in South Bend.

Mrs. John Schulte and daughter, of Park Forest. 111., were Tuesday visitors of her mother, Airs. Edna Wolfe and Max. Afis. Frank Lewis who fell in her home several weeks ago and broke her hip. was released from the hospital last week and is now convalescing ait home. NORTH LIBERTY Mr. and Airs. James Zerby let Tuesday for the Wisconsin Dells where they will spend a tew days. Janies Taylor was admitted to th<> Community hospital for surgery. Mr. and Airs. Vernon Bender and Wayne Van Vlick. of Texas, visited with Air. and Airs. John Beron Jr. and family on Saturday.
