Some namcs are missing that have been familiar to the line-up, but also s« me names are named im starters that belong to established .Cars who haven't been exactly burning up the league to date. One of these is Roger Maris. Als< names! is Mickey Mantle who has missed as much action as he Jia- seen with his injuries. THE NATKIN AL LEAGUE IS missing the name of their leading hilUi. Stan Musial. who is m; st i anger to these clas.m s. C., Tuesday The second game will be at Wrighy Field. Chicago, on July 30. THIS GAME ORIGINATED by the late Arch Wal’d of the Chicago Tribune, has been increased to two games each yeai simply for money. The receipts of the game go to the Players' Pension Fund something the players themselves like to have well stocked for the years after they arc out of baseball That is the sole reason f>r the two games which (eita nly has taken a. little of the glitter off of the former one game a year set-up. THE AMERICAN LEAGUE holds a slight margin in the series as the National League has dominated play in the last few years, many times due to the stocking of the club by former American League and Yankee manager. Casey Stengal. with Ins pet play eis.
