An extract of a letter dated, Worthington, Ohio, Feb. 1822, says the Connecticut Courant, contains the following statement of the available funds of that place: "That you may know how scarce money is, it has becn remarked that there is but pre quarter of a dollar in Worthington and that has been borrowed so much from one to another to pay postages, that it is worn smooth, and L now a twenty cent piece."
