------- Twelfth Bulletin, Munich, 5th Brumaire, Year 14. The fortifications of Ingoluadt and Augsburg, are at this moment repairing win the greatest activity. He has ordered the fortifications of the towns of Ulm and Memmingen to be demolished. Generals Derdi and Vredin, display the greatest activity ; the latter had made a great number of Austrian prisoners. He served last war in the Austrians where he greatly distinguished himself.
Thirteenth Bulletin, Haag, 6 h, Brumaire, year 14 The corps of the army of marshal Bernadotte, left Munich on the fourth Brumaire. arrived on the 5th at Wassenberg, on the Inn, and slept at Alten nark : six arches of the bridge were burnt. Count Mamuoci, colonel of the Bavarian army, had transported himself from Roth, to Rosehim, where he found the bridge there had also been burnt and the enemy on the opposite side. After a brisk cannonade the enemy gage up the right bank. Several French and Bavarian battalions passed the Inn, and on the 6th at noon, both bridges were entirely re erected. Marshal Davoust with his corps of the army, left freyfing on the 4th, and reached Muhldorff on the 5th ; the enemy defended the right bank where they had erected batteries in a very advantageous position. The bridge was so much destroyed, that it was not repaired without much trouble. On the Sun at noon, a great part of the army of marshal Davoust passed over. Pritrct Murat hat carried a brigade of cavalry to cross the brigade of Muhldorf ; he caused the bridges d’Oetting and Marekehl, to be repaired, and passed over them with a part of his reserve. The emperor went in person to Haag. The corps of the army of marshal Soult , is stationed before Haag ; the corps of gen. Marmont, rests this night at Wishiburg ; that of marshal Ney at Lannes, on the road from Landshat to Branan ; all the information received of the enemy’s situation, represents the Russian army to be retreating.
Fourteenth Bulletin. Branan.3th Brumaire, Oct. 30. The misunderstanding between the Russians and Austrians begins to be observed. The Russians , pillage every thing. Their best informed officers well knew that the war which they make is impolitic, since they have nothing to gain from the French whom nature has not situated to be their enemies. Brannau, as it proves, may be Considered as one of the handsomest and most useful acquisitions of the army. This place is surrounded by an enclosure with bastions, draw bridges, half moon and ditches full of water. There are numerous magazines of artillery, and all in good condition ; but what will appear difficult to believe, it is completely provisioned. There were found there 40,000 rations of bread ready to be distributed. and more than loop sacks of flour ; the artillery of the place consists of 45 pieces of cannon, with spare carriages and mortars, furnished with more than forty thousand balls and howitzers.
