Be it enacted by the Senate dvd Home of Representatives of the United States of America in Confess dssertbledi That all the laws of the United Stated, which are not locally inapplicable shall havo the same force and effect within tha oaid state of Missouri, as else, where within the United States S;c. 2.dr.dbc it further encctfd. That i'hi said stato of Missouri, shall he one District, and he called the Missouri district; and a district Court shall b; held therein, to consist of oue Judg-, who shall reside in the said "District, aud be called a district Judg; he shall hold, at the seat of government of the 6aid btate, three scissions annually the first to commence ou the first Monday in Juno next,

And be it farther cnactedj That there shall be appointed in the said District, a person learned in the law, to act as attorney for the United States, who filial!, in ndditirrS to his stated fees, be nid !v - the United State9, tH o hundred dollars annually, as a full coinpensation forlall extra services. Sec. 3. And be it further enattaiy That a Marshal shall bo appointed for the said district, who shall perform the same duties, fed subject to tha eaco
regulations, and penalties, and be entitled to the samo fees, ao are provided for, and prescribed to, Marshals in other districts, and shall, moreover, bo entitled to the sum of two hundred dollars annually, as a compensation for all extra services.
