Alexander Trout, Stc.and Ire as. Inhumanity.—Somu of the citizens of Acton attempted, on Friday, to retaliate upon the Ctnclelnnatl Railroad Company ter the manner in which tbe difficulty between tbe eltj'f) and the Company in regard to the manner of running trains some time since, bad been settled. The messenger think Ing the box t jo confined even ter a pig, opened It and found the boy, who would certainly have died of suffocation In a short time. What tbe object of this Inhumanity—not to call It attempted murder—could have been, is more than we can discover. It may have been thought a good joke, or the perpetrators may have expected the boy to die and thus, in some manner, bring reproach and censure upon tho Company. In any aopposltion, tbe Inbumau Wretches who would do such an act
should bo severely dealt With.

The ” Bee Hive” has from tbe first been a favorite with our people and deservedly so. MAsqi'ERADE Balt..—The miequeradebaigiven by the Mteonerokvr, at Washington Hall, last night, was the finest Effatr of the kind ever gotten up In this city.
