—A painful accident occurred on Sabbath morning, at about half-past eight o’clock, resulting in the severe scalding and subsequent death of a little boy between one and two vears old, named George Von Dlssen. Mr. Von Dlssen had prepared a basin of water and was making preparations to <have himself, when the child, unobserved by the parent, caught hold of the basin and emptied its contents all over its breast, burning it so badly that after suffering all day, It finally died shortly after eight o’clock Sabbath morning.—3fadison Free Preu. —Judge Hughes has been making speeches at Bloomington, In which he avows his approval of the Constitutional amendments, and Indorses the full radical programme.
