It seems that on the evening of the 2fith of April last he was seen in company with a number of young men in the town of Alamo. They met | at a grocery kept hy a man nmneil Little, and after drinking some time, Mr. Mam left the house lit about half past eight, nud nothing more was seen or heard of him until the dis. covery of his body on lust Tuesday evening. A short time after his disappearance, the community suspecting fiml play, instituted n search for the body, but failed to discover It. Suspicion ol the murder fell upon a number of young men who were in the habit of resorting to the grocery of Mr. Little.
