It makes FDUR EIFFEREKT ETITCHSS. the lock, knot, double -lock, and double-knot, each stitch being alike on I'jth tides of the fabric. It has the REYERSIBL 1 1 MOTION, whi.'h enables the operator by simply turning a thumb ecrew to have the work run either to the right or left, stay any part of the seams, or fasten ends of aeauis without turning the fabric. Changing the length ot' stitches, and from one kind of stitch to another, can readily be done while the Machine is in m. ti n. The Needle is more Ecslly Adjusted than in any other machine, and can be used where quiet is necessary, does not require a finer thread on the under fide than it docs tor the upper, and will Sew from tlie Finest to the Heaviest Fabric without charge of thread or breaking of needle.
