Mr. Davis, of Sullivan, moved to procoed to an election of Principal Clerk, and nominated Mr. Bowes, Mr. Qross nominated Geo. H. Chapman. The vote was for Bowes, 80: Chapman, 86. Mr. Bowes was sworn into office. Ths House then proceeded, on motic-n of Mr. Humphreys, to the election of AsriiW ant Clerk.

Mr. Bracket and Mr. Hay worth were nominated, when Mr. Bracket, received 69 votos; Mr. Hayworth received 38 votes. Tbo former was ejected.
