Hon. John L. Daivson. of Pennsylvania, has been appointed lteedcr'e successor a firstrata man, who, as hu voted for the N'ebnuka-Kansus Bill, will, sea the laws properly administered, and will tro as far as Reeder, or any one else, to resist any encroachments on the rights of the people of thu Territory.
